Miles M. Needer

Miles Needer is the designer and webmaster of Managingvolunteers.com.

A graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, Miles is currently part of the production team for Videolink, a growing transmission and production company based out of Boston. He also worked for WBAL-TV 11, the number one ranked station in Baltimore and 50,000 watt heritage news-talk behemoth, WBAL-AM; as well as WWLG, WNST, and the now-defunct OnAirSports.com.

While at WBAL-AM, he produced the top-rated program "Dave Durian and the Morning Team" for two years, as well as co-producing the station's coverage of the 2002 and 2003 Preakness Stakes. He was also instrumental in the station's coverage of the Ravens' 2001 Super Bowl victory, Cal Ripken Jr.'s retirement, 9/11/01, the DC Sniper attacks, and the 2002 Maryland Gubenatorial election.

He resigned from WBAL-AM in July 2003 to join sister station WBAL-TV as a Creative Services Producer, where he wrote and produced promotional material for the station's newscasts.

In August of 2005 he joined the Videolink team, serving as jack of all trades in their growing Baltimore bureau.

The only thing Miles enjoys more than editing the web content for Managing Volunteers is listening to music, watching countless movies, rejoincing when the Orioles occasionally win a game, cooking, taking ridiculous photographs, spending time with friends, and holding hands with his wonderful fiancee.
